Informative and Knowledgeable

“From the moment I contacted Darryl at Bert Electrics I felt confident that I was in safe hands. He was responsive, informative and knowledgeable about the problems we faced. We live in an old house that has had many alterations done over the years and some of them not very well. The electrics were a real nightmare and Darryl recommended a full survey to asses where we were before starting any remedial work. The survey was completed on time and fully explained to us together with all of our options. Darryl was at pains to point out the issues he felt needed immediate attention to ensure the system was safe and also helped us prioritise the other work to keep the cost down. Nick who did all of the work for us was equally professional and helpful and again did a great job. Everything was completed as agreed and the house was left neat and tidy. Bert The LED man

For months I had just allowed my down lights to go out in an attempt to save money and had deliberately not replaced them, as everyone was costing me a lot of money. I had tried some LED’s but none had been satisfactory both in terms of appearance and light quality. You popped round and quickly installed some LED down lighters to replace a couple of the ones I had just allowed to die. They are fantastic. Not only do they give a great light quality, but the total cost of running all of them is less than it cost me to turn one on before. You have obviously researched and found the best LEDs. Not only will I be replacing all of my lights with LEDs from Bert the LED man, but I will recommend a consult with you to anyone who will listen. Thanks again.

Prompt Service Bert Fixed The Problem The Same Day I Called

Bert changed a light pull switch in my bathroom. He was able to fix it the same day as I called him and when there was a fault with the new switch he replaced it immediately with a new working one. I will be using Bert for all other work in the future and would recommend him to anyone.

Quality of the Workmanship

Bert was recommended to me when my newly-purchased flat needed rewiring and has done a great job; the quality of the workmanship is high and was done on time and to budget. He also presented me with a folder containing an Electrical Installation Report which included all the certification relating to the electrical and fire alarm system. Not only is Bert professional and knowledgeable but also friendly and easy to get on with, plus he listens what you have to say! I would have no hesitation in recommending Bert – he’s great.

Turned Up On Time

My wife has been nagging me for some time now to get our external lights working. We both see patients in the evening and, during the winter it is difficult for them to identify the premises without a good light showing. The lights in question had been broken for over a year and have resisted the attempts of 2 electricians to fix them. You turned up on time and got straight down to sorting out the problem, and the result was absolutely first class. The lights now work perfectly despite the faulty wiring fitted by one of the previous electricians, who had wired up the sensor incorrectly. Moreover, the price was most competitive. I will be very happy to recommend Bert Electrics to all my friends, and acquaintances.

Serious Craftmanship

Darryl fitted the underfloor heating in our compact but bijou bathroom. Then he brought in an excellent tiler, Jez, to lay the tiles. Everything was done with minimal fuss and serious craftsmanship. Now we have a toasty bathroom that is very comfortable thanks to Darryl’s work and that looks great thanks to Jez. A dynamite team. We’d recommend them both without hesitation.

Diagnosed The Problem That Other Electricians Could Not

Darryl repaired an electrical circuit in my living room which had been beyond the capability of two other so-called electricians. A security risk, will help put off intruders

Thank you so much for quoting on, then installing and fitting a movement sensitive pair of external lights along my back passage – a security risk identified by Phil, of Amthel Security, as part of an overall home protection plan. I feel sure this will help to put off intruders, although the cat is looking a bit rattled, having her midnight rambles lit up for all to see. I can only begin to imagine how see feels. I chose these guys because of their website and they were as good as they promised. They turned up on time, Darryl and apprentice (nice to see), in smart, branded work clothes. They were efficient and pleasant, a winning combination. Darryl explained very clearly all the options and they just got on and did the work and tidied up afterwards. A real pleasure to have them in the house rather than the teeth-sucking, ‘I am doing you a favour’ you get too often from tradespeople.
